Biography
Dr. Yan is a Managing Director of Fosun Group, one of the largest conglomerates in China, in charge of the securitization business and Internet finance, and assisting in Fosun’s investments in the US. Prior to joining Fosun, David was the General Manager of Product Development of Lufax under the PingAn Group.
Before moving back to China, David was the Global Head of CLO/CDO Research and Senior Strategist of Securitized Products of Credit Suisse Group. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, David worked for Merrill Lynch in the Structured Finance Research group, focusing on quantitative analysis for CDOs, home equities and other ABS products. David has published many industry research reports on CLO/CDOs and several academic papers on credit derivatives and interest rates in academic journals. David also worked at FTN Financial and OCWEN Federal Bank in the areas of fixed income and securitized products.
David is a CFA charter holder and holds a B.S. in Economics degree from Fudan University in China and a Ph.D. in Finance from University of Alabama. David was a former President of TCFA.
