Biography
Maggie Wang is a Managing Director and the Global Head of Structured Products Research at Citigroup. Her team is responsible for global research and analytics in non-agency residential mortgages, esoteric ABS and CLO. Her team is the top-ranked analyst team in the All-American Institutional Investors survey since 2007 and ranked No. 1 from 2014 to 2017, in 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023. Her team also ranked No. 1 in the Greenwich Associates US Fixed Income Investors Study and the Survey of Asset Managers and Hedge Fund Managers in 2017 and 2018, and No. 1 in the Hedge Fund Managers in 2016.
Maggie has worked in fixed income for 20 years. Before joining Citigroup, Maggie spent 13 years at JPMorgan as the head of CDO Research, then expanded her coverage to be the head of CMBS, ABS and CLO research, and ultimately the head of Securitized Products Research. She started her career at Salomon Smith Barney as a research analyst.
Maggie obtained her Master’s in Computer System Engineering from Boston University, where she also studied Mathematical Finance and Operations Research.
