Casey earned his BS at The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and earned his MBA at The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He obtained his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Casey resides in Vail, CO with his wife and three children. Together they are active members of their church and enjoy living the mountain lifestyle. His favorite places to conduct client meetings are on a chairlift or gondola.

Scott VanderMeer is the co-founder, General Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Infusion 51a and an offshore feeder fund out of the British Virgin Islands. Scott’s career started as a professional international basketball player in 2009, after graduating with his MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He went on to play in 10 different countries, winning 5 championships. In 2010, Scott co-founded International Infusion, a venture capital firm investing in disruptive technologies. During this time abroad, Scott was able to network in the investment community around the world leading to co-founding Infusion 51a, an impact based investment fund within the Healthcare sector. Scott is skilled in operational and accounting infrastructure, forensic accounting, audit preparation, investor relations and fund marketing. Scott has been a co-founder, COO, CFO in both private and public entities which he has invested in.
Scott recently moved to Raleigh where he launched the North Carolina Offices. Scott and his fiancé, Dr. Kim Sauls are active in their community and love to spend their off time traveling with friends and family.
TCFA Chicago Chapter
The Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) is a government registered non-profit organization aimed at facilitating the exchange of ideas, knowledge and information on education, research and practice in finance and related areas between the U.S. and China. TCFA seeks to bring together the collective wisdom and expertise of scholars and professionals in an effort to promote the development of capital markets in China. TCFA further seeks to serve as the central venue to service its members in their professional development.
TCFA Chicago Chapter was founded in 2008 and small member gatherings can be traced back even much earlier. Together with TCFA Global and other local chapters, we facilitate communication between our members and various China/US financial institutions. The Chicago Chapter is committed to promoting the exchange of ideas and experiences stemming from education, research, and real-world practices in finance and business, with a strong Chicago flavor of futures and options trading, investing and risk management.
