Job Descriptions:
America Data Center
The incumbent is responsible for assisting the department head to perform IT risk management for the department, and acting as the IT liaison of audit requests and coordinate across the bank to prepare solutions. S/he will assist in conducting FLU IT risk management; be responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring, managing and reporting the IT risks; perform quarterly in-scope risks (i.e. operational, strategic, compliance, reputation) and controls self-assessment, reporting results, developing and tracking remediation efforts, and coordinating risk-acceptance if needed. An ideal candidate should have at least 3 years’ relevant experience in risk management, general computer risks and controls knowledge of banking IT environment. We are looking for someone who has experience with IT Risk management, IT risk and control assessment methodology, information security, SSAE 18 SOC1, SP800-53 standards. IT auditing experience is highly preferred.
The incumbent is responsible for performing daily operation and maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of the Bank’s network infrastructure, and implementing network projects according to the department’s annual work plan or user’s request. S/he will assist in implementing network projects, installing and configuring network hardware and software, testing and production go-live, daily operation and technical support, daily operation and maintenance of network, purchasing and managing inventory of network hardware and software, and implementing security control methods on devices. We are looking for candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree with at last 5 years of work experience as a network engineer in a financial institution. S/he should have proficiency in main network technology such as route protocols and layer 2 technology, as well as in operation of mainstream network manufacturer’s devices, such as Cisco, Huawei, etc. Cisco CCNP is preferred, but not required. Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin is required.
Front Line Roles
The incumbent will be responsible for implementing, administering, and maintaining all aspects of Corporate Banking Department’s business procedures. The incumbent will also assist Quality Control Unit to identify, assess, monitor and report risk issues and KRIs. S/He will also lead the task of post-closing loan management, training and coaching, advising and coordinating new product assessment. We are looking for a candidate who has at least a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in credit portfolio management. Experience in covering different industries including energy, technology, material, aviation, and/or real estate is preferred. Knowledge and skills in fundamental credit analysis, financial modeling, commercial loan products, debt capital market, complex deal structure, pricing strategy, capital and liquidity constraints are required.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing portfolios among Syndicated Loans, Merger & Acquisition Finance and Project Loans. S/He will also be responsible for marketing the Bank to develop customers, eliciting loan proposal, evaluating and controlling the risk, booking the loan, monitoring the risk in the portfolio, in accordance with credit policy and Bank Secrecy Act regulations. We are looking for a candidate who has at least a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 7 years of relevant experience in corporate lending and customer relationship management.
The incumbent will be responsible for business development of project and structure financing and conduct credit analysis including preparing credit reports, term sheets and marketing materials. Main tasks include marketing and interaction with clients (marketing products, negotiating term sheets, attending meetings and reviewing legal documents), credit/quantitative analysis (financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, industry analysis, credit application, term sheet, pitch book, post-lending management) and internal communication with management and compliance. We are looking for a candidate who has at least 4+ years of relevant working experience in corporate lending and credit analysis with specific exposure to project finance. If the experience falls under electricity, power or energy area, it would be highly preferred. The candidate should have the ability to engage with marketing and client relationship management and the proficiency in spreadsheet analysis, ratio calculation and analysis, cash flow projection and analysis. Bilingual in Mandarin and English is preferred. 4+ years of relevant working experience for AVP; 8+ years of relevant working experience for VP.
The incumbent will be responsible for soliciting and originating new businesses focusing on the China related transactions such as fully secured bilateral loans, deposits and treasury service products, researching and examining credit risk, assess credit history, and providing credit recommendation of the related loans and deposits. We are looking for someone who has 5+ years of experience in commercial banking. The candidate should be able to engage with other internal bank areas including in additional to interacting with clients and prospects. S/he is expected to be able to work independently and excel in Excel, Argus and other spreadsheet analysis, ratio calculation and analysis, cash flow projection and analysis, sensitivity testing and scenario analysis.
The incumbent will be responsible for the origination and management of a portfolio of clients by offering the product suite of the Bank, including but not limited to deposits, lending, commodity financing, trade and structured finance. We are looking for a candidate with 10 years of banking experience with 5-6 years in structured financing and 5-6 years as a product manager or relationship manager with a large bank. Language abilities in Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus.
Data Related Roles
The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day analytics and reporting of the Bank’s data quality and related metrics, by maintaining data quality processes and following data quality procedures. S/he will perform data quality activities including data quality rule creation, edit checks, issue identification, root cause analysis; maintain and enhance data quality scorecard and dashboard, communicate with data stewards; and coordinate remediation activities. We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree or above with 3 or more years of professional work experience in the financial services industry focused on data. S/he should have 2-4 years of experience with SQL and data quality tools. Strong problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills are highly preferred.
The incumbent will manage the governance and oversight of the Record Retention program across the Bank. S/he will manage the Record Retention program activities and drive improvement in the overall health and wellness of the Bank’s Record Retention. The position will include document (i.e. SharePoint) governance, taxonomy, and implementation. Responsibilities include providing strategic direction and management of the planning, development, and implementation of various projects and initiatives in support of the Record Retention program; performing Record Retention Training throughout the Bank; maintaining and distributing the Record Retention Procedure; and monitoring each department’s compliance with the program. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree or above with 5 or more years of professional work experience in the financial services industry focused on data. S/he should have 2-3 years of data governance experience, and 1-2 years of Record Retention experience. Strong problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills are highly preferred.
Human Resources Related Roles

Internal Audit Related Roles
The incumbent will assist the IT Audit team for the design and execution of audit coverage for the Bank’s US IT audit program. The coverage responsibilities pertain to audits of IT systems, applications and operations, attendant risk undertaken in the lines of business and control functions. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to execution and supervision of the audit coverage strategy of the IT program, and design and implementation of testing of the IT audit programs in the Bank. S/he will prepare and distill summary of audit findings and recommendations, follow up with the compliance leaders and their teams to ensure control issues are effectively resolved, and coordinate with the key stakeholders to identify emerging issues and distill thematic or systemic control issues. We are looking for someone with Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 5-10 years of work experience in auditing business application and system infrastructure at medium or large financial services organizations. An ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, and hands on experience in ensuring documentary sufficiency of analytical procedures to support audit standards and Bank regulatory expectations. Experience as a bank examiner, auditor, consultant, or compliance professional with strong understanding of IT risk is highly desired. CISA is highly preferred.
The incumbent will support the oversight, design, and execution of audit coverage and validation for the Bank’s US AML program consisting of the Bank Secrecy Act, the US Patriot Act, and other AML, OFAC, and related regulatory requirements (“AML program”) and the compliance program. S/he will drive audit and validation program enhancements; prompt, oversee and reports on corrective action; update audit strategy and program; improve audit toolset; and build expert knowledge. An ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or above and at least 5-7 years’ work experience, with at least 3 years of experience in BSA/AML/OFAC audit and other years in a BSA/AML/OFAC control, risk, or compliance role at large banking organizations or regulatory experience in a senior management role in compliance, AML, or sanctions. Experience in Consent Orders & MRAs Validation as well as experience with USD Clearing is preferred. CAMS is required.
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting audit execution of the Bank’s retail and commercial business activities and risk management programs. Banking activities include retail banking, commercial lending, trade finance, and correspondent banking, and an in-depth look of overall controls surrounding correspondence risk, with a peer link to BSA/AML/OFAC compliance. Job responsibilities include executing and supervising the audit coverage strategy of business activities and management functions and attendant risks; prompting, overseeing, and reporting on corrective action; updating the audit strategy and program; improving the audit toolset; and building expert knowledge. We are looking for someone with Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 5-7 years’ experience of work experience in a control, risk, or audit role related to business operations/management. An ideal candidate should have hands on experience in ensuring documentary sufficiency of analytical procedures to support audit standards and Bank regulatory expectations. S/he should have experience using computer assisted auditing tools or performing computer modeling to evaluate assertions. CPA, CIA, and CFA are preferred.
This incumbent will assist the Team Lead in managing the day-to-day operations, communicate with the Head Office, and fulfill OCC requirements of the audit management function within internal audit department. S/he will monitor performance against targets and deliverables assigned to the department; provide backup support to the Team Lead in managing day-to-day operations; assist with the development of departmental budget and monitor departmental expenditures, etc. An ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or above, with 3 years relevant banking experience or financial institution experience. Legal and Compliance Related Roles
The AVP will focus on the development and delivery of enterprise-level sanctions quality assurance, reporting directly to the VP of quality assurance. S/he will assist with quality assurance actions including supporting documentation standards, confirming sanctions advisory functions, verifying methods used by sanctions investigations, assisting with administrative functions, implementation and improvement of programming, and verifying maintenance of policies and procedures. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 5 years’ experience working in a bank or financial institution in a BSA/AML & OFAC internal control technology capacity. S/he should have knowledge of U.S. banking regulations and compliance practice, with a strong emphasis on all aspects of BSA, AML, and OFAC. CAMS or similar certification is preferred, but not required.

This role is responsible for daily operation in LCD, focusing on the administration of HR related areas and resource management. Main responsibilities include HR Administration, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, third party vendors, invoice and attendance management, org chart maintenance, consulting management and performance evaluation related assistance. In addition, the incumbent will have additional responsibilities including budget management and workforce planning related projects. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience in an HR, COO office or administration related areas. 1-3 years of experience in a financial institution/compliance area preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. Chinese language ability required.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing sanctions related general administrative and team support and ensure the team operates well on an administrative level. Main responsibilities including administration support, matrix reporting, and quality assurance. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or above, with 2-4 years banking industry experience, and knowledge of OFAC sanctions policy, US banking regulations, compliance practice, and compliance risk management. Comprehensive knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC related regulations and ability to implement policies and procedures is required. Bilingual ability in Chinese is required. CAMS is preferred, but not required.
The incumbent will monitor transactions processed on behalf of Bank customers and correspondent banks for OFAC and Sanctions compliance using an automated monitoring system. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or above, who have at least 1-year relevant working experience, with knowledge of U.S Banking regulations and compliance practice with strong emphasis on all aspects of BSA, AML, and OFAC. Bilingual ability in Chinese is required. The candidate should also have strong communications and analytical skills. CAMS is preferred, but not required.
The incumbent will handle live transactions in a timely manner, complete complex case investigations, and continuously monitor activities. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or above, who have at least 2 years of experience working in a bank or financial institution in a BSA/AML or OFAC internal control capacity, with knowledge of US banking regulations and compliance practice with strong emphasis on all aspects of BSA, AML, and OFAC. The incumbent will assist the Vice President of Sanctions Filter Management with coordinating resources to accomplish threshold tuning in the Bank’s transaction review platform and comply with regulatory requirements. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or above, who have at least 5 years of experience working in a bank or financial institution in OFAC, with knowledge of US banking regulations and compliance practice with strong emphasis on all aspects of BSA, AML, and OFAC. Sufficient knowledge of internal control technology capacity and Fircosoft is preferred. ACAMS, IT, or other job-relevant certifications are preferred, but not required.
The incumbent will perform comprehensive assessments for compliance risks and controls, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Product Risk, etc. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or above, who have 0-2 years of compliance related experience, with knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations and OFAC requirements. CAMS is preferred, but not required.
Legal Related Roles
The incumbent will assist the general counsel on advising on complex credit and lending transactions and providing enhanced legal support to business areas. S/he will prepare standard loan documentation for complex credit and lending transactions with client, including loans secured by financial assets and real estate and syndication loan document review, analysis, and advisory, general contracts. In addition, s/he will assist in advising the business on complex transactions and initiatives related to the Bank lending and coordinating with other attorneys and legal personnel, and supporting business units regarding cross-border transactions, coordinating closing and funding and handling post-closing as required. We are looking for a candidate with JD or LLM above and at least 5 years’ experience in legal advising and counselling. An ideal candidate should have strong legal analytical and risk assessment skills, experience in credit and lending transactions. S/he should be licensed attorney in one of the states.
Global Market Related Roles
The incumbent is responsible for pricing model development, client categorization analysis, risk control, market research and provides support to serve clients’ hedging needs. S/he will be supporting product team to assist the new product development, collaborate with the trading desk to facilitate the deal executions; be responsible for analyzing research report and financial market news, conducting a business analysis, analyzing FX and interest rate to support risk exposures management. Additionally, s/he will ensure to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, especially the Volcker regulations and Dodd-Frank framework in derivative products. An ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or above with 2-3 years of banking/investment experience, strong financial market knowledge and excellent data analysis skills are required. CFA certification preferred but not required.
Treasury Middle Office Roles
The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring and reporting related risks of the Global Markets and Treasury business line. S/he will also prepare routine reports and support the production of ad hoc risk analysis reports, maintain and support the risk related system, and conduct other tasks assigned by the department head. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, statistics, or other related majors. S/he should have 1+ years of related experience within the financial industry, and knowledge of financial market products, related risk management, risk governance frameworks, and Bloomberg or other platforms. The candidate should also have strong problem solving, analytical, and writing skills. Bilingual ability in Chinese and English is preferred, but not required. CFA and FRM certifications are preferred, but not required.
Risk Management Roles
The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and implementing the Operational Risk Management Framework. This includes creating, executing and maintaining the Operational Risk Framework (Policies & Procedures, Interdisciplinary of all Operational Risk Department Programs, Taxonomy Governance, etc.). The incumbent will execute tasks related to the Operational Risk Management Framework, Taxonomy Governance, Incident Management, and Issue Management. We are looking for candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree, with 10-15 years of experience with Operational Risk Management Frameworks, Operational Risk Policy and Procedure, Taxonomy Set Up and Governance, Incident Management and Issue Management. Knowledge in Operational Risk, Lending and Banking Business, and Risk Assessments are required. Experience in Compliance and BSA/AML risk is preferred.
The incumbent will be responsible for leading operational risk data analytics, using all available data to identify and measure operational risk. Responsibilities include preparing data for both ad-hoc and regular risk reporting according to the department and other stakeholder requirements. S/He will also develop/enhance the operational risk analytics program, including the development of governing documents, such as policy, procedures, guidelines, etc. S/He will also be responsible for evaluating all available/relevant data sets, checking to ensure that data integrity standards are met, evaluate the different sources of data, and organize/analyze holistically to efficiently identify operational risks, emerging risks, and develop a risk profile for each of the department. S/he will also create a risk aggregation methodology to have a risk view of each of the departments and the branch as a whole. We are looking for candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree or above, with minimum 4 years of experience in banking, finance or risk analysis.
This incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all aspect of IT Risk Management to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Bank’s critical systems and data. S/He is responsible for establishing and maintaining the IT Risk Universe of critical applications and data, process maps and data flow diagrams, conducting periodic inherent and residual risk assessment of IT Risk Universe entities, developing and executing an IT Risk annual work plan of review and challenge, risk identification, assessment, and control evaluation and testing activities. The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining IT Risk policies and procedures, facilitating risk identification through top-down and bottom-up approaches including identifying IT risks that affect key business objectives of FLUs and measuring IT Risk, identify Top and Emerging risks, and identify individually insignificant risks that are material in aggregate. We are looking for candidate who has at least a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial services, Risk Management, Audit, IT, Operations, or other relevant functions. 7-10 years of experience in developing and executing IT Risk programs, projects, and policies is required. Familiarity with COBIT, ITIL, FFIEC Handbook is preferred. CISA, CISSP, CISM or other related IT Risk certificate is preferred.
This incumbent will be responsible for the development and maintenance of IT Risk policies, providing input to technical standards for IT governance and program management, including application development and maintenance, IT asset and configuration, and IT operations. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing IT risk management related input to other operational risk management processes, including Third Party Risk Management, Risk Control and Self-Assessment, Control Testing and Issue Management. S/He will also be responsible for IT risk identification and assessment, reviewing and challenging the results of IT controls reviews and tests. S/He will also monitor and report on IT risk metrics, Key Risk Indicators, warnings and breaches. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and supporting the implementation of New Activity Risk Management framework and process in accordance with Heightened Standard and other regulatory requirements. S/He will identify, measure, monitor, control, and report risks associated with offering new, modified, or expanded products and services.
This position will be part of the design team responsible for administering and managing Operational Risk Assessment and Control Testing Programs. The role will participate in the design, supervision and implementation of an RCSA tool that is being built in accordance with OCC Heightened Standards and will provide support in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and executing risk assessments performed by the first line business in the Bank. S/he will support bank-wide coordination of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process in close collaboration with QCUs in FLU to ensure consistency with sound risk management standards and internal policy and procedures; support RCSA team with process modeling of business activities; complete IRM report to aggregate the overall operational risk profile and report to risk committees when required. An ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or above with 2-3 years’ banking experience in operational risk management, concentrating in RACA/RCSA or ERM risk assessment areas. S/he should have regulatory and compliance knowledge, risk management framework experience.
This incumbent will be responsible for performing credit risk analysis of transactions proposed by the first line unit and conduct independent risk assessment and analysis, including but not limited to: M&A finance, leveraged lending, project finance, aircraft and ship finance, and Sino-US cross-border finance. S/he will be involved in in-depth analysis for individual transactions including macro economy analysis, industry analysis, company analysis and financial statement analysis. We are looking for candidates who have minimum 7 years relevant credit risk analysis experience in the banking industry. Strong knowledge of credit markets and products, including M&A finance, leveraged lending, structural finance and project finance is required. Ability of analysis, communication skill, and coordination skill are required. Loan Work Out experience is preferred. The candidate should have at least a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in finance/accounting/economics, a Master’s degree is preferred. CPA, CFA, or FRM is preferred, but not required.

This incumbent will be responsible for conducting independent risk assessment of commodity finance, structured finance and commercial real estate credit proposals and credit related matters, developing loan work-out strategy to maximize recovery, maintaining credit portfolio risk measurements (e.g. Key Risk Indicators to track concentration and credit exposure risk, internal risk rating system, etc.), managing and credit risk reporting according to local regulatory and home country requirements. Operation Service Roles
The incumbent will support all aspects of the financial credit Limit Setup process for various departments within all Bank Branches covering all product types, ensure the accuracy and timely receipt and review of all required documents, and ensure the approval for instructions to set up credit limits onto the system platform. Treasury Related Roles
The Balance Sheet Management team is responsible for managing the Bank’s assets and liabilities, liquidity risks and Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) design/implementation. The incumbent will focus to design and implement the FTP policy & procedures and work with relevant departments on the execution. The role has broad exposures to senior management and risk and business management. The incumbent requires strong understanding on balance sheet management and demonstrated work experience on the FTP methodology and implementation. 1-6 years of relevant experience is required, Mandarin fluency is strongly preferred but not required.
The incumbent will help strengthen the funding and liquidity function within Treasury. This role is responsible for helping optimize funding management. S/he should have good knowledge of the funding and liquidity management or ALM management operations in a commercial bank. The incumbent will be responsible for marketing companies, banks and other financial institutions, originating and promoting the Bank’s trade services and finance products, managing loan portfolio and analyzing risk exposures, maximizing customer base and the Bank’s market share. S/he will work with various branches and correspondent banks to develop new business and promote existing products; develop business with domestic clients; monitor monthly report of the department about trade services and finance; prepare and review credit files for existing and new customers. We are looking for someone with Bachelor’s degree or above in business/finance related majors who have at least 5-8 years’ banking experience specialized in trade finance. S/he should have strong experience in marketing, trade services and finance products. An ideal candidate should have strong background n relationship management, marketing, risk management and assessment knowledge. Legal background and regulatory knowledge is a huge plus, and bilingual in Chinese and English is preferred but not required.
