Maggie Wang is the Founder and CEO of Anoris Capital, a firm dedicated to research and investment at the intersection of global technology innovation and credit markets.
Maggie brings over 19 years of leadership experience, bridging Wall Street finance and technology innovation. Tapped by J.P. Morgan during her Ph.D. studies in Computer Engineering, she launched her career on Wall Street in 2007 as a research analyst at J.P. Morgan’s New York headquarters. She rapidly advanced to lead the US CLO research team at J.P. Morgan by 2012 and later joined Citigroup, where she was promoted to one of the youngest Managing Directors in 2018.
Prior to founding Anoris, she served as the Global Head of Structured Credit and Private Credit Strategy at Citigroup until 2025, overseeing investment research in a sector valued at over $8 trillion. She led a global team advising over 900 top-tier institutional investors, including banks, insurers, pension funds, hedge funds, private equity firms, and large family offices.
A pioneer in “AI + Finance,” Maggie integrated big data and AI models into credit market research as early as 2016. She spearheaded the creation of the industry’s first credit data analytics platform, the Citi CLO Index (CLOIE), and the CLO Asset Manager Scorecard—tools that established critical pricing standards for the multi-trillion-dollar market.
Maggie has been ranked as a top analyst in the prestigious Institutional Investor All-America Research Team survey for 18 consecutive years. Her research has been cited more than 1,000 times by major financial media, including Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal.
Maggie holds a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University, where she was a Ph.D. Fellow, and a Bachelor’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in China. In addition to her leadership at TCFA, she serves on the Dean’s Council of Weill Cornell Medicine.
